Coffee Pot Filters How Do You Get Tea Smells Out Of The Filter In Your Coffee Pot?(Please Help)?

How do you get tea smells out of the filter in your coffee pot?(Please Help)? - coffee pot filters

My friend is using the coffee pot to make tea, even if you specifically asked to remove the tea bag immediately after the beer, let stand for several hours. Well, my coffee smells and tastes like tea, and I'm angry. This is the second time that we had a problem with it. The last time I had to go and buy a new coffee machine, for cleaning after a week, the smell of strong tea was still there. This is a sure way to eliminate this smell the coffee filter? I need expert advice, thank you.

As you can see their answers, others run white vinegar through the pot will be clean. If your water is hard, you can do it once a month, tea or not.

If you are not satisfied with the vinegar solution by the filter in a plastic bag or bowl with a lid and sprinkle liberally with baking soda. The soda absorbs odors. It takes longer than the vinegar solution, but it would also work.

We have a kettle that the water is heated in a few minutes (for about $ 25 Wal-Mart) as a Christmas present. I use it for tea, of course, but use it to preheat water for cooking. It is more efficient and much faster than hot water on my stove. Again, this could be a solution to the problems of the future: the tea bag stays in the cup or mug of beer, no coffee like that.

Vinegar, like others, he said.

Let him know that you can not get a good cup of tea in a pot of coffee because the water is not hot enough. Of course, some people like crap tea ...
